Nile Rugs Sirjan Persian Rug

This beautiful Sirjan Persian Rug was hand knotted in the city of Sirjan, Iran. Sirjan rugs typically have both bold patterns and colours. Designs are often geometric, and sometimes feature flower motifs. It’s not uncommon for Sirjan Persian Rugs to have one or multiple medallions. Colours of which are used are often a red field with other colours being blue, black, ivory and other top colours. Sirjan Persian Rugs are on the thinner side, although there are some which would fall into a medium pile height category. These rugs were produced years ago with love by nomads and are a treasure of the past. These rugs have been professionally washed, cleaned and restored. Due to the vintage/antique nature of these rugs, there may be imperfections and signs of wear which rather enhance the feel and beauty.
